ABOUT THIS EVENT

The "Run for Rick" is an event created by the family and friends of Rick Martone, in order to keep his spirit and passions alive. Rick was a devoted father, musician, artist and motorcycle enthusiast. The "Run for Rick" was started in 2007 not only to keep the memory of Rick alive, but also to create a future for his son Cologeno, who was only nine years old at the time of Rick's passing. All of the proceeds for this event go to a college fund that was created for Cole to give him an opportunity to further his education, and ensure his successful future as an adult.

The "Run for Rick" not only creates a future for Cole, but unifies and reconnects family and friends whose bonds will be long-lasting. Please, if you are a first time visitor to this site, come to the "Run for Rick" this year, it is the continued growth of this event that will truly build a bright future for Cole. We whole-heartedly thank everyone who took the time to come to these events to donate their time and support for our family. We hope to see all the old faces and some new ones at the "Run for Rick".
